Stationery has been a love that has lasted a lifetime – starting with my Ordning & Reda discovery aged 14. It was a small shop full of beautiful coloured notebooks and I was in absolute heaven. My poor Mum had to shell out notebook after notebook and I would scribble down my musings of the day, which I would absolutely love to read now. This shop is till one of my firm favourites, as is the wonderful Paperchase – another one full of things that I could quite possibly buy one of everything…
When I was younger, stationery was a luxury; something pretty that I loved writing in. Now that I’m adulting, stationery is sort of a necessity as my brain has begun to lose the capacity to hold information there. I forget things, and often. I walk upstairs to get the empty milk bottle and come back down with only my hairbrush. There are so many trips up and down those stairs muttering to myself in the third person. Yes, I need stationery to organise myself, which is where I made this discovery.
I’ve been hearing good things about this Paperchase Blogger’s Journal, but at first wasn’t sure if I should buy one. Do I really need it? Surely I don’t need a specific journal to organise my blogging life? Turns out I do. Recently, as I’ve gained momentum with my blog, I find that I need a bit more of a schedule and a focus, so I don’t get totally overwhelmed. Because as bloggers, we want to do it all don’t we? There’s so much to do that the to do lists in my head were beginning to make me scream a little bit. So this discovery has been a godsend…I now have a weekly plan and I’m feeling so much better for it.
So after buying my little journal, which has sort of changed my life a little bit, I decided to review it in a vlog. Hope you enjoy it and let me know in the comments below if you have any organisational tips to share with your blogging!
This is not a sponsored post, I just really like my new Blogger’s Journal
