Saying Thank You with Bloom & Wild

I’m still a newbie to blogging but there’s one thing that has made me feel like less of a newcomer to the scene, and that was stumbling across the lovely Katie from Mummy In A Tutu‘s #TribalChat group. It is a supportive, welcoming group of bloggers who have a private DM chat and a weekly Twitter chat. I was late to join the group (as ever – always late to join the party!) but meeting this group of girls has transformed my blogging life.

What they don’t tell you about blogging, is that it can get kind of lonely, particularly at the beginning. You start writing with no inkling whether it’s of interest or if you should keep going. You can become racked with self-doubt and perhaps get quickly obsessed with stats. Then there’s the tech side: should you go self-hosted? What about linkies? When is the best time to promote your posts? It’s been incredible to have this group to sound out any worries you might have, as well as chuckle over a few GIF’s while we’re there.

Every three months, Katie hosts a #TribalChat blogging awards where we all vote for each other in certain categories. I was so delighted (and a little shocked) to win the Dedication award, taking the crown from the talented Karen from Two Tiny Hands. It was an honour so a big thank you to everyone who voted for me! As a little thank you for all Katie’s support and encouragement, we organised a Outstanding Contribution to the Tribe award for her, including a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Bloom & Wild.

The flowers as you can see were stunning and Katie loved the surprise! I’m a massive fan of Bloom & Wild for their beautiful arrangements. But recently, I noticed that they also do a letterbox service, which I thought was perfect in case the person you are sending them too isn’t at home. The flowers arrive in a flat box and prices start from as little as  £20. One to think of for your next special occasion and we thought it was the perfect way to say thank you. Special mention has to go to the ever thoughtful Becky of Sparkly Mummy for conjuring up this wonderful idea.

Disclosure: Bloom & Wild kindly provided a bouquet of flowers in return for an honest review. Thank you!

I’m loving the #tribalchat hour and was watching the award ceremony. I’d not realised about the private DM though.
