Sleep Tight with the Leesa Mattress

This is a collaborative post with Leesa

We moved into our house in July 2015 and ever since, we have been wanting to transform our master bedroom. At first it wasn’t something we could tackle as Emma was sleeping with us but as she approached 1 year old, we moved her into her own room and the plans began to fall into place! We’ve been shopping for cushions, throws and bought a brand new shabby chic wardrobe for me with a matching dresser. Now it’s onto the important stuff…the master bed.

It will be no surprise to you that sleep is important to me. We still struggle on with a little broken sleep and in fact each week is pretty unpredictable so it’s good to make sure that any sleep we do get is quality! And I’m sure you’d agree that it starts with the mattress. The one thing that puts me off buying a new mattress is the sheer size and weight of a double mattress and how on earth we’d transport it up our stairs. So when I was introduced to Leesa, a company that pride themselves on helping people sleep better, I was delighted to review their mattress.

The mattress arrived in a tall box (amazingly only 110cm x 40cm x 40cm) and I was astonished that there was a mattress inside. Even a girl like me with next to no upper body strength could move it out of the hallway, though I had to enlist my other half to get it into the bedroom. When I opened it up, it was rolled into a cylinder and easy to pull out of its packaging. Then, the magic came as I took the plastic off and the mattress unravelled itself onto the bed. It made the process of getting the new mattress onto the bed-frame absolutely effortless! It was the perfect last part of the jigsaw in our newly decorated bedroom.

img_2887Next came the real test, as we tested out the mattress and it was amazing. We hadn’t realised that our mattress was so old that we could feel the springs in some parts of it and was really affecting our sleep. The Leesa mattress is made with avena foam which gives you support while you are sleeping and is the comfiest sleep we’ve ever had. Our sleep is much the same as ever and we usually get 2 sets of 4 hours unbroken sleep, but we both woke up feeling refreshed and ready for the day.

As well as our fantastic night’s sleep, I was really impressed with Leesa as a company, as they offer a 100 night risk free guarantee with every mattress they sell and if you’re not happy, you can get a full refund and your mattress will be donated to charity. On that note, how amazing is it that 1 out of every 10 mattresses sold is donated to charity as a matter of course? I thought it was a fantastic idea to create an affordable mattress that makes mattress-buying so easy! The mattress itself is made using 3 layers of foam that work together to allow airflow and keep you cool at night, making such a difference compared to other mattresses we’ve had where we wake up sweating in the night!

This gorgeous mattress has been such a great addition and helped us to completely revamp our bedroom – it’s such a luxurious product but not just about aesthetics. It’s all about giving you the best sleep you’ll ever have with Leesa. It also gave me the ultimate excuse to buy brand new sheets and cushions, one of my favourites things to for. If you like the look of this, then you’re in luck as I have a little offer for my readers. If you buy a mattress via my page, you will get £50 off. What are you waiting for? That mattress, I can’t get over how it expands. It looks so comfy too. We really need a new mattress so I need to go and investigate these 🙂

Who could believe it came in a box that size. It looks so comfy.

I’m a little ashamed to admit that one of the reasons why I am so adamant in getting a new mattress is because I was to experience seeing one expand before my very eyes! LOL Anyway, been hearing a lot of good things about Leesa. Definitely putting it in my list of considerations. Thanks for sharing this!

I’m a little ashamed to admit that I was supposed to buy this mattress last month. LOL anyway, I’ve been hearing good things about this mattress and I think it’s now time to change my sleeping bed that I’ve been using for six years. Thank you for sharing.

That mattress package is so small that I can not believe it can expand and compress like that. Nice review BTW,

This mattress is an absolute dream! I recently purchased one and was astonished by the full night’s rest I had. I awoke in the morning no neck pain, no back pain, and not even remotely exhausted, one of the best purchases I’ve made in forever.
