This is a collaborative post with Organix
There is still a couple of weeks left of the summer holidays and we’ve been enjoying getting out and about. As Emma and her brother have a large age gap of 12 years, it’s not every day we find something that both children can enjoy. But we heard recently that Chessington World of Adventures has a new ride, called The Gruffalo River Ride where you ride in a little boat and come face to face with The Gruffalo himself. It sounds like great fun!
When Emma was young, I bought her The Gruffalo set of books as I love poetry myself. Over the past few months, she has been requesting that I read them to her and loves hearing the story and making her own roaring sounds. In a fantastic collaboration, our favourite brand of snacks Organix have teamed up with Chessington to make it even cheaper for families to visit, offering either one adult or one child free* All you have to do is pick up a voucher by buying one of the Organix promotional multi-packs.
As a bit of a fussy eater, snacking has been a life saver for us. Emma is slowly growing out of it but it feels like we have extensively tried the entire range! Her favourites are the sweetcorn rings, gingerbread biscuits and of course the carrot cake bars. In fact, the carrot cake might have had mummy’s seal of approval too. As well as this, you’ll also find some of the Organix products for sale at Chessington which is great to hear that there are healthy alternatives available for energetic toddlers.
