Over the past few weeks, the weather has really turned and it feels like autumn. I know I’m probably supposed to be lamenting the end of summer, but I always get so excited about autumn. A chance to buy even more chunky knits and go conker hunting with James and Emma, not to mention warm nights in front of the fire. I can’t wait! Emma has recently had a growth spurt and has jumped 2 sizes so it was the perfect opportunity for a few autumn outfits. When the lovely team at Vertbaudet asked if we’d review them, we were more than happy to.
Vertbaudet is a children’s clothing brand from France and I’ve been a big fan ever since Emma was born. I’m always looking for brands that are a bit different from your average high street brand and I love their unique designs. Plus I love that their clothes are so affordable, covering clothes from newborn to 14 years old. I’m so excited to share three gorgeous outfits for autumn, perfect for rainy and windy days to keep toasty!
Emma and I love being by the beach but often it’s a bit of a windy affair. Emma’s coral knitted jumper (£18) kept her warm and her grey spotted skinny jeans (£15) were a perfect match with them. The jeans were much warmer than leggings, and she felt very grown up in trousers!
Going to the park will always be Emma’s favourite thing to do, whatever the weather. We love her dusky pink reversible owl dress (£18) along with knitted navy tights (£15 for a pack of 2). I’m a little bit in love with clothes with owls on them – adding to the numerous animal prints we have in Emma’s growing wardrobe – the perfect autumnal outfit.
Even on grey days, we seem to find ourselves on the beach – walking through the rain-soaked sand and watching the waves go by. Emma’s oversized pink rabbit sweater (£19.50) is perfect for those chillier days and goes well the matching grey leggings. In fact, the leggings have become such a popular choice that she asks to wear them every day – rabbits are certainly a firm favourite for our little one!
Vertbaudet’s Autumn/Winter Collection is a great place to look for a warmer wardrobe for your little ones’ – a lot of pieces are discounted too so incredibly reasonable. It’s made me so excited for Autumn too – who’s with me?
